Weston Favell School and Technology College is a secondary school in Northampton that educates young people from the age of 11 19 years
Students have many opportunities to perform in productions such as 'Bugsy' and in an annual Talent Show and in music concerts. Peripatetic Music teachers visit the school on a daily basis.
Many sporting activities are available at lunchtimes and after school including trampolining, athletics, football, cricket and rugby. Weston Favell School teams regularly participate in town wide and county wide sporting events. In conjunction with our SSCo and Sports Plus Centre we have a thriving extra curricular sporting programme.
The school runs activities to support charities, including Red Nose Day, Jeans for Genes and Children in Need.
There are after school clubs for Art, DT, Music, ICT, as well as many departmental revision classes and the daily Personal Study Zone in the LRC. We run a huge array of intervention events and catch-up clubs.
Masterclasses are held for pupils from our local primary schools regularly on a saturday morning.
In July 2008 a Technofocus Challenge day was held, in keeping with our T.C. status and from this Year 9 students gained a Bronze Crest Award.
Our LRC regularly runs quizzes and competitions, they participate in Book Week and participate in an annual Northamptonshire Literacy Quiz.
